Hunter Adds to Sales Team

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Hunter Industries has announced the addition of Carlos Galan and Lance Elliott to its sales team.

Galan Galan will handle the territory that includes metropolitan Los Angeles and eastern Ventura County, Calif., with responsibility for distributor, contractor, municipal, and specifier sales.

“Carlos is a veteran of the irrigation industry and will be a real asset to Hunter sales,” said California Regional Sales Manager Denise Hoover. “He knows his products and he knows the market. He’ll feel right at home working in a territory where he already has many years of experience with one of Hunter’s largest distributors. A long time proponent of Hunter, Carlos now brings his enthusiasm for our company and his professional spirit to our customer base – one that he is highly familiar with.”

Galan has worked more than 20 years in the irrigation industry and has spent much of that time with one of Hunter’s largest distributorships.

Elliott also has spent much of his career in the irrigation field. He will handle territory in western Ventura County, Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County with responsibilities for distributor, contractor, specifier and municipal sales.

“The son of a landscape contractor, Lance has grown up with irrigation in his blood,” Hoover said. “He brings a wealth of experience to his new position with Hunter and he says that it will be a pleasure to sell to others the products he has loved and used for years.”

Elliott was introduced to the industry by working for his father’s landscaping operation, then went on to work for other irrigation and landscaping companies where he lived, eventually owning his own irrigation business.
