San Marcos, CA — Hunter Industries has upgraded its XC Hybrid to a new stainless steel version. The battery powered version of the XC controller is now approved for tougher weather protection and increased security.
Customers can safeguard controllers from the elements and vandals with the strength of steel. The features – a 365-day calendar, three independent programs (each with four start times), global seasonal adjustment, station controlled sensors, 'Easy Retrieve' memory backup and on-board, non-volatile memory – are now all protected.
Hunter Industries’ XC Hybrid Controller operates DC latching solenoids with battery power. Prepared to weather the outdoors, the XC Hybrid Stainless Steel comes in six- and 12-station models. And the use of six C batteries means a longer life, up to twice that of the standard XC Hybrid.
