Husqvarna Announces Commitment with EXPO 2003

Husqvarna becomes the largest exhibitor at EXPO 2003 by expanding its booth space and showcasing additional product lines.

Louisville, KY – Husqvarna Forest & Garden Co. announced a commitment that will make them the largest exhibitor so far this year at the International Lawn, Garden and Power Equipment Expo taking place Oct. 18 – 20 in Louisville, Ky. Their 7,150-net-square-foot exhibit, called the Husqvarna Pavilion, will be located in the South Wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center. It will also showcase Jonsered, Partner, Poulan and WeedEater.

Husqvarna has been a long-time EXPO exhibitor, but this is the first time Husqvarna has ever showcased all their product lines at one tradeshow. Husqvarna decided to try something new and different for this year’s EXPO: They are exhibiting in a larger, expanded pavilion to demonstrate their continuing commitment to dealers; they will be bringing new products for everyone’s needs, from landscapers to homeowners; and they are having an extensive outdoor product demo area where attendees can try out all their products first hand all three days of the show.

“We really want to show dealers and attendees that we are part of a much larger corporation that deals with a variety of landscaping products,” says Sam Catalano, marketing manager for Husqvarna.

Husqvarna is also planning several major events that will take place during EXPO. They will feature the landscape truck to be given away as a part of their “Feel the Power” campaign. The truck is an Isuzu landscaping truck outfitted with a wide assortment of Husqvarna landscaping products. Catalano said other events that are sure to be big hits are in the works and will be announced soon.
