Husqvarna will pay $155 million in a debt-free deal for Komatsu Zenoah's outdoor products division.
Stockholm, Sweden-based Husqvarna signed the final agreement for the company Jan. 30, and the deal will include RedMax/Komatsu Zenoah of America.
The Komatsu Zenoah product line includes brush cutters, chain saws, trimmers and blowers.
Husqvarna expects to complete the acquisition in early April. Komatsu Zenoah had annual sales of $170 million in 2006. Husqvarna says the purchase will strengthen the company's presence in Asia.
