Friday marked day No. 1 of the weeklong auction for the Hustler Turf Equipment Super Z mower signed by NASCAR driver Richard Petty.
With a paint job like Petty’s No. 43 Dodge, the current top bid for the mower is $7,500 with 17 bids in so far, as of 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 20.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, Hustler Turf Equipment’s charitable organization of choice. The racing-themed camp in Randleman, N.C. is a haven for children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses.
For the last several months, Hustler Turf Equipment has sponsored the Mow for Victory Tour, which ended on May 28. Hustler and its cosponsors are working on raising $500,000 in donations for the Victory Junction Gang Camp, which carries $2.5 million in annual operating costs.
