Hydro-Scape Products Acquires Aqua Designs

Aqua Designs was one of two Southern California distributors for Aquascape.

Hydro-Scape Products bought out the wholesale distribution operations of Aqua Designs, a prominent landscape pond equipment supply company in Southern California.  Hydro-Scape also now employs Aqua Designs former Warehouse Manager, Eric Miller.

All of the products Aqua Designs previously supplied to its customers can now be found at Hydro-Scape, along with their existing family of landscape and irrigation products. Aqua Designs was one of two Southern California distributors for Aquascape, a manufacturer of water feature equipment and supplies for creating ponds, waterfalls, pond-less waterfalls, and bogs.

The addition of Eric Miller, former manager of Aqua Designs, provides Hydro-Scape with even more expertise on water gardening for its customers.  Miller brings years of experience in the water gardening industry.  Having successfully completed Aquascape’s Pond College and assisted in numerous contractor training events, he is known to be very knowledgeable about the installation and maintenance of water features.  Miller works in Hydro-Scape’s main branch in San Diego, and can be reached for inquiries regarding water gardening at 877/766-3426.

The water gardening market is a huge growth opportunity for the landscape professional as more and more homeowners and architects are adding water gardens into their landscape design. Hydro-Scape currently has a vast selection of water gardening products in addition to the products they acquired from Aqua Designs, such as the AquascapePro line, including the new PRO-Fit™ pond systems. Industry professionals can shop and compare products from in-stock access to the leading lines that simplify the installation of residential and small commercial water gardens at Hydro-Scape’s convenient, one-stop locations.

Hydro-Scape will also continue to offer contractor seminars to orient contractors to the opportunities in the water gardening business.  Of special note are the company’s “Build-A-Pond Day” seminars that involve attendees in the hands-on experience of building an actual pond from start to finish.    The first of these seminars kicked off last October, and there are more seminars being scheduled for this Fall and Winter.
