HydroPoint Launches WeatherTRAK ET Pro and WeatherTRAK.net

HydroPoint Data Systems announced the introduction of the WeatherTRAK ET pro irrigation controller and WeatherTRAK.net Internet management service on Wednesday. With the launch of the combined WeatherTRAK ET Pro solution, HydroPoint adds remote Internet management service to its weather-based WeatherTRAK irrigation technology.

The WeatherTRAK.net Internet service enables central online management of WeatherTRAK ET pro controllers to provide landscape professionals with the ability to manage clients’ systems from any location with Internet access. WeatherTRAK ET Pro Users can log in to the secure, easy-to-use WeatherTRAK.net Web site to gain a central view of all ET pro controllers under their management. Via two-way wireless communication, WeatherTRAK customers receive real-time controller status readings and adjust the irrigation programs of single controllers or groups of controllers. Any change can be simulated before it is implemented.

Multi-year studies by water districts and independent agencies has shown the WeatherTRAK product line to yield water savings of greater than 50 percent, achieve as much as 95 percent of potential water savings and improve plant health. The commercial irrigation management program continually adjusts irrigation based on daily, evapotranspiration (ET) data, transmitted wirelessly via the WeatherTRAK ET Everywhere service.

WeatherTRAK ET Pro also includes the built-in Scheduling Engine, which customizes irrigation schedules according to landscape-specific parameters and regional water usage requirements. The unique combination of programming and real-time ET data ensures that plants always get the water they need, when they need it.
