Hyundai Announces New President of Construction Equipment Division

Choon Oh Ma will become president of Hyundai Construction Equipment USA and looks forward to the company's upcoming product releases.

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. – Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. (HHI) announces the appointment of Mr. Choon Oh Ma, former overseas director of sales and marketing for HHI Korea, to the position of president of Hyundai Construction Equipment USA (HCEUSA). Ma will be replacing J.J. Kim, who has been appointed to the position of executive vice president of global operation with HHI Korea.

 

“Under the watchful eye of Mr. Kim, HCEUSA has made significant growth in both sales volume and product support. This includes the grand opening of a new service training center, renovation of the Elk Grove Village, Ill., parts warehouse, the improvement of supply logistics, new partnerships with over half a dozen reputable dealers, as well as a series of interactive dealer conferences,” Ma says. “The success at HCEUSA can only be attributed to customer satisfaction. HCEUSA will continue to grow by meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations.”

 

In 2005, HCEUSA will complete the delivery of the Dash-7 excavator and wheel loader equipment lines and will introduce several new models including mini-excavators. Within the next few years, HCEUSA will introduce zero-tail-swing excavators to support the company’s marketing efforts.
