The FNGLA Frontrunners Chapter, in collaboration with the Green Side Up Podcast, is proud to present the inaugural Landscape Rodeo, an action-packed competition and networking event for green industry professionals from across the country. Scheduled for Jan. 24–25, 2026, this hands-on event will be hosted in St. Augustine, Florida, and is open to all landscape contractors, suppliers, students and equipment operators that think they have what it takes to win.

The two-day event will feature over 20 live competitions, including zero-turn mower races, skid-steer obstacle courses, blindfolded irrigation head assembly and 3-on-3 backpack blower soccer. Designed to showcase the essential trade skills that drive the industry forward, The Landscape Rodeo will bring together professionals of all levels for an unforgettable experience of skill, camaraderie and career growth.

“This event celebrates the backbone of our industry — those out in the field getting it done,” says Jason Lee, FNGLA Frontrunners Chair and co-host of the Green Side Up Podcast. “It’s about creating space for professionals to compete, connect and inspire the next generation.”

Sponsorships are available at multiple tiers, offering brands and manufacturers the opportunity to engage directly with participants through equipment demos, vendor booths and promotional exposure. Proceeds will support future FNGLA educational programming and workforce development initiatives.
