With so many landscape contractors sending proposals electronically, Include Software’s landscape business software program, Asset, has introduced iEsign, an in-house e-signature platform. Asset users now have fully integrated access to this tool, and they no longer have to rely on a third-party provider for this.
“When you integrate any third-party vendor, it becomes bolt-on integration—where you’ve just added something onto your software,” said Bill Seven, Include Software founder. “It’s not as seamless an experience as something that is fully integrated. That’s why we began to look at how we could integrate an e-signature platform directly into our system.”
Seven said that because iEsign was built on the system’s own platform it has been fully integrated into Asset. Users no longer have to “leave” Asset and visit a third-party site to retrieve documents.
iEsign will also help streamline payroll. Now, signing off on timecards can be an integrated part of the payroll process. Timecards get stored and saved after being signed, creating a fully legal electronic trail.
Pricing options will be announced at a later date.
