Michael Martin of M&M Lawncare in Evansville, Ind. won a Toro Dingo TX 413 in the company's giveaway.

Martin was one of several thousand entrants who received a postcard in the mail and responded to the Toro drawing, which has been held annually for the past several years.

“I was very excited to hear that I had won,” said Martin, owner of M&M Lawncare. “I’ve never won anything of any kind of value before. The Toro Dingo TX 413 will be a valuable addition to our fleet of equipment.”

Martin currently owns a Toro Dingo TX 420 model loader, along with several attachments. “The Toro Dingo is used for a number of different things in our lawn business,” he explained. “We use it to move dirt and rock, and it actually helps us perform maintenance on some of our other lawn equipment.” Martin revealed that his current compact utility loader does the work of three or four employees.

Martin’s business has expanded over the years since its start in 1998, and he now provides service to around 100 commercial and residential lawn customers. “I’ve broadened my business to include irrigation design and installation, landscaping and snow removal,” he said.

Dingo compact utility loaders -- like the model Martin won -- help landscape professionals complete work more productively and profitably by maximizing manpower, minimizing hand labor, and finishing jobs faster. The loader and 35-plus attachments are ideal for applications such as tree planting, material hauling and handling, preparing seedbeds, pond building, constructing decks and fences, demolishing structures, and installing irrigation systems.

The TX 413 loader is 33.7 inches wide and offers zero-turn capability, allowing an operator to easily maneuver the unit into tight areas and pass through 36-inch gates or openings.  The loader’s dedicated track drive features dual, Kevlar-reinforced rubber tracks that provide full ground engagement in all conditions for optimum digging power, yet minimizing damage to existing grounds.
