Interior plantscape professionals, allied industry professionals, and their suppliers convened Sept. 17-19 in Palm Springs, Calif., for three days of networking, educational sessions, the two-day Exhibitor Showcase, and to honor industry leaders.
Three long-time industry leaders were honored at the Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame and PIA Awards Banquet. The 2008 Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame Inductees are Victoria Cate, Plantscaping Professional; Donald Wilson, Allied Trade Professional; and Walter Campbell, Posthumous Inductee.
Two exceptional PIA volunteers were also recognized. PIA's Gold Leaf Award went to Cheri Ratay for her work on PIA's Seminars for Interiorscapers and the PIA Interior Plantscape Awards Program and the Special Recognition Award was given to Saram Singh for his work as the Allied Trade Committee Chair.
