96 percent of attendees felt that attending the IA show was a good investment. 87 percent of exhibitors felt the IA show was a smart investment. 93 percent said they plan to exhibit at this year’s show in Anaheim, Calif.
Both exhibitors and attendees agreed: the new format of the general session and keynote, previously held as a breakfast with ticketed entry, and the new product contest were well-received events. Common interest group meetings and education courses were also valued.
Overall, there was an increase in attendance and exhibitors as compared to the previous three years. With attendance at nearly 7,000 attendees, 2007 broke the record for total attendance since the show began in 1979. Over 250 certification exams were taken, nearly 900 class seats were filled and 380 companies exhibited on the show floor, the largest number the show has ever seen.
Irrigation Show 2008 will be held in Anaheim, Calif., from Nov. 2-4
