IA announces new board of directors

The IA Board is made up of 15 people.

FAIRFAX, Va. – The Irrigation Association has announced the newly appointed members of the IA Board of Directors.

  • Richard Arias, vice president of sales for the southwest United States and Mexico for RDO Water and RDO Equipment Co. (San Diego)
  • Julie Bushell, director of sales and marketing for the agriculture division of Paige Electric Co. (Union, New Jersey) and president of Paige Wireles
  • Eric Santos, vice president of irrigation services for the landscape maintenance division of BrightView Landscape Services (Pleasanton, California)

At the conclusion of the 2019 Irrigation Show and Education Week, these individuals started their three-year terms and joined the 12 other members who are continuing their terms from previous years. The IA Board is made up of 15 people.   

“The IA looks forward to the unique expertise and experience each of these individuals will bring to table while serving on the board,” said IA CEO Deborah Hamlin. “We appreciate the work they and our current directors devote to the IA as we work together to advance the industry and promote efficient irrigation.”

The IA Board of Directors is tasked with establishing the association’s strategic direction, policies and programs. Directors are nominated each year by members of the association and represent the diversity of member types and market segments.
