Make plans now to attend Irrigator Tech’s fourth annual trade show and barbecue on Sept. 15, 2005. The trade show, which has grown dramatically since its introduction in 2002 will be held at the Chino Fairgrounds, Chino, Calif., this year to accommodate the large number of expected attendees and vendors. Last year, Irrigator Tech President Richard Daigle said the event drew more than 1,000 attendees and more than 50 trade show booths.

Holding the trade show at the fairgrounds will allow for plenty of on-site parking, as well as a 15,000-square-foot area for vendor booths and irrigation classes. A news release from Irrigator Tech notes that the company will be changing some of the classes offered at the event and is currently looking for commitments for hands-on classes outside, as well as on-site demonstrations and training classes on specific products.
Always making headlines, Irrigator Tech used last year’s trade show to launch its new mobile classroom. The 40-foot, fifth-wheel trailer expands into a full-size classroom for 25 people and now allows Irrigator Tech to offer classes at dozens of locations in five states.
The focus of this year’s event is the introduction of a new competition festively called the Gatorlympics, which will involve a series of events. At the end, the 2005 Gatorlympians will be announced and the winning team will receive a cash grand prize. Organize your four-person team now and call Irrigator Tech at 866/614-1755 to register.

Irrigator Tech also is taking sponsor registrations and encourages new companies to sponsor activities and competitions of their choosing. The events will take place after the sponsors’ demonstrations/classes and representatives from the sponsor companies will give out prizes for trade show day events. In addition to the Gatorlympics, the day-long event will also include a raffle and chili cook-off. Cook-off winners will be determined by trade show attendees that have purchased a chili ticket – not a panel of judges.
Potential sponsors and attendees interested in participating in the fourth annual Irrigator Tech Trade Show can register online at www.irrigatortech.com, or by calling 866/614-1755. Members and nonmembers are welcome to attend and contractor registrations are free. Vendors may exhibit inside the tent, outside or both and may receive up to $100 off their registration fees for registering early.
