Irrigreen partners with Netafim on smart drip system

Irrigreen has launched the Smart Drip System with Netafim, expanding its platform from turf irrigation into garden beds and landscaped areas.

The system combines Netafim’s drip hardware with Irrigreen’s irrigation monitoring and automation platform. The Smart Drip System offers leak detection and abnormal flow alerts, clog detection at the emitter level, real-time water pressure monitoring with automatic adjustment and automatic shutdown when irregular watering is detected.

Irrigreen has also introduced the Irrigreen Smart Drip System with Netafim Drip Line, offering real-time visibility, sensing, and control to garden beds, landscaped areas and other non-turf zones – all managed from the same Irrigreen app used for turf.

At the center of the system is Irrigreen’s proprietary smart valve, which serves as the precision control point for the drip line, continuously monitoring water pressure and flow behavior. This real-time awareness enables capabilities like leak detection, clog detection, microsecond pressure modulation, runaway watering prevention and weather-aware automation.
