Irven “Irv” B. Stacy, III joins Advan LLC as Southeast area sales manager for the company’s turf & ornamentals division. Stacy is responsible for sales and marketing activities of Echo fungicides, Basamid G granular soil fumigant, Cavalcade herbicide and other Advan products in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas. Based in Clermont, Fla., Stacy will focus on the golf course, lawn care maintenance, turfgrass and ornamental nursery market segments in those states.
Stacy brings to Advan more than 25 years of industry experience. Previously he served as Southeast regional sales manager for Haifa Nutritech, Inc. For Vicksburg Chemical Company/Tri-Pro, Inc., Stacy was vice president/specialty products. In addition, he also directed the specialty products division ParEx/Woodace for Swift Agricultural Chemicals Corporation (now known as Vigoro Industries, Inc.). Stacy holds an associate degree in turf management from Pennsylvania State University.
