WHEELING, Ill. – Scott Jamieson, president of The Care of Trees has recently added Chief Executive Officer to his title. The company promoted Jamieson to CEO/president as part of their focus on superior client service and leadership development for its employees.
The $45-million business has 500 employees who are encouraged to grow and develop for professional advancement throughout the country. Jamieson himself started with The Care of Trees in 1989 as an arborist and worked his way up through the ranks as district manager, regional vice president, chief operating officer and president in just under 10 years.
“I am honored to be appointed chief executive officer of one of the largest tree-care companies in the country,” Jamieson says. “This is an exciting company that is growing rapidly and I am looking forward to the challenge of balancing stability with the opportunities that this growth provides.”
Jamieson will take over the CEO responsibilities from John Hendrickson who will remain on the company’s board of directors.
