The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that 166,000 new jobs were created in October. America's unemployment rate remained steady at a low 4.7 percent.
October marks the 50th straight month of job growth, and since August 2003, 8.3 million jobs have been created.
