ST. LOUIS – Joe Weiss, a sales associate with Bluegrass Lawncare, Bridgeton, Mo., not only achieved his sales quota for 2009, but was named corporate employee of the year.
He generated more than $1.4 million in commercial landscape maintenance and snow removal sales. Weiss has worked for the company for three years, bringing his 14 years of experience and knowledge to the lawn, landscape and snow removal business. He received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.
Weiss not only increased his number of customers in 2009, but also added several large corporate accounts to his company’s portfolio, including eight hospitals in Missouri.
“It’s really an honor to be part of such a great organization,” Weiss says.
Bluegrass is ranked 148 on Lawn & Landscape’s Top 150 list, with revenue of more than $7.2 million.
