SARASOTA, Fla. – John Deere & Co. unveiled its 2005 product lineup at a conference Lawn & Landscape attended here Oct. 14 through Oct. 16.
The company announced additions to its compact utility tractors, utility tractors, commercial mowing, utility vehicles and portable power equipment.
The new 5025 Series tractors feature improved hydraulics and other options typically found on higher-horsepower tractors, according to Mike Alvin, product manager of the company's Augusta, Ga. Tractor Works plant.
“Operator comfort was a big priority when designing these tractors,” Alvin says.
John Deere’s new Gator T-Series utility vehicles comprise three models – the Gator TS, the Gator TX and the Gator TH 6x4. All models are faster and more powerful than the previous generation of Gators with top speeds reaching 20 mph.
