BURR RIDGE, Ill. – Nufarm Americas has hired John McBee as the new midouth regional sales manager for the turf division, effective Aug. 1, 2005. John will be taking over for Marvin Moore who plans to retire from the company on Oct. 1 of this year and will be responsible for account management and product placement of Nufarm’s expanding turf product line in a territory that includes Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and a portion of Tennessee.

John has more than 15 years of experience in the turf and ornamental industry and has held positions within LESCO and, most recently, with PBI Gordon. “John's experience and industry knowledge make him a welcome addition to our Nufarm team,” says Sean Casey, national sales manager for Nufarm’s turf business. John will be located in Yantis, Texas where he lives with his wife, Elaine, and sons, John and Paul.
Marvin Moore has been involved in many special projects during his 16 years of service with Nufarm, beginning his career as the national sales manager and working his way up to vice president of sales and marketing with the previously named Riverdale Chemical Co. Prior to Riverdale, Moore had sales and management responsibilities with Elanco Products. When Nufarm acquired Riverdale in 1999, Marvin was instrumental in ensuring the smooth transition with its employees and customers.
