The Kincaide Co. of Kansas City, Kan., and ADKI Group of Olathe announced Monday that the two companies have merged to form Highland Oudoor, based in Olathe. Together, the company will offer landscape design, construction and maintenance services.
Kincaide has been in business for 19 years, and ADKI has operated for eight years, Highland Outdoor said in a written statement.
Jason Cupp, president and general manager of Kincaide Co., will be president and CEO of the merged companies, the statement said. Cupp also is marketing chairman of the Professional Landcare Network trade association, which formed Jan. 1 with the merger of Associated Landscape Contractors of America and the Professional Lawn Care Association of America.
Chad Fulk, general manager and co-owner of ADKI Group, will be COO and vice president of the new company.
Highland Outdoor has named Ben Acheson as general manager and vice president. Acheson is one of the current owners and operations manager of ADKI.
Cupp, Acheson, Fulk and Nicki Fulk constitute the partnership group of Highland Outdoor. Terms of the merger were not disclosed. Visit Lawn & Landscape Online frequently as more information on the merger is disclosed.
