Kioti Tractor Celebrates 20 Years in Business

Kioti Tractor, a division of Daedong Industrial, is commemorating its 20th year in business in North America. Since shipping their first tractor to the United States in 1986, the company has continued to manufacture and design small to mid-size tractors. The company has steadily increased its market share and product offerings and would like to thank all those dealers, customers, employees and business associates that have contributed to the success of the company.  

In 1993, Daedong-USA was formed and the doors opened to KIOTI Tractor's first North American facility in Wilson, N.C. The company outgrew that facility several years ago and built a new facility in Wendell, NC where they remain today.

"Our tractors have been embraced by dealers and customers across the country and have become renowned for quality manufacturing since all major components of the tractor are made by our company. This fact alone, gives us the ability to control the quality of each and every tractor manufactured, which gives us the confidence needed to offer an industry best 4-year warranty on every tractor we ship," says Ron Parish, Market Development Manager for Kioti. 

Since Kioti's humble beginnings in North America, the company has continually expanded the depth of their product line. In 1999, the first DK Series compact tractor was introduced. In 2000, they introduced the KL Series loaders, KB Series backhoes and KR Series grooming mowers to further enhance their line. 

In addition, the company now has a broad line of implements, including mid-mount mowers, which were added throughout 2002 and 2003. Two new tractors were introduced in 2006 and three new tractors will be launched in 2007, including a 90hp model, for a total line consisting of 13 models in the 20 to 90 horsepower range.

To commemorate the company's anniversary and move it successfully into its next decade of business, the logo is being updated and a paw print and tagline integrated into their corporate identification.  The tagline, Run Ahead of the Pack, along with the paw print, will serve as reinforcement of the brand name and corporate image.

Kioti Tractor continually works to develop new and innovative designs to help their customers optimize their equipment and capitalize on profits. Kioti Tractor is a member of both FEMA and AEM. In addition, the company is an active member of several trade associations serving the farm equipment and related industries.
