The Augie connects to any low-speed drill using a hole saw mandrel and drill extension. This system is ideal for most yards and can be used to quickly swap out sprinkler heads or dig holes without the sharpshooter.
The Augie Pro System is designed to fit around most sprinkler heads without destroying larger sections of the yard. It clears enough space around the head to reach in your hand to remove sprinkler heads and can be used down to 8 inches making it easy to access even deep-seated heads with risers. The custom auger can also cut through pesky roots but isn’t so aggressive to immediately destroy cables or other wires that might be around.
The Augie Pro System also features a non-stick coating and clean-out tool that makes clearing the interior of the auger a breeze. It’s designed to quickly remove dirt or mud without getting your hands dirty. Just stand on the sides of the plate and place the Augie over the blade. Most of the time, that’s all it takes, but if necessary, you can gently spin the auger and it will remove whatever is in it.
The Pro System is designed to work with any low-speed drill, cordless or not. It also come with a standard hole saw mandrel that increases the torque but still allows easy removal if needed elsewhere. The Pro System comes with an 18” drill extension to it and can be used standing up, with minimal back bending.
