PEORIA, Ill. – L.R. Nelson recently names Douglas Ramsdale as president of its turf business unit.
In his new role, Ramsdale is responsible for overseeing all aspects related to Nelson’s worldwide professional irrigation business.
Ramsdale originally joined Nelson in January 2001 as vice president, international and managing director of Nelson BV, it’s former subsidiary in the Netherlands.
“We are fortunate to have Dough Ramsdale join our turf business unit,” said Dave Ransburg, chairman and chief executive officer. “His extensive knowledge of the international marketplace, coupled with his experience makes him a natural choice to lead our turf business to increased growth and profitability.”
