NEW ORLEANS, La. – Green industry company Landscape Images blossomed during the 26th annual Spring Garden Show in New Orleans earlier this month. A leading design-build landscape architecture and maintenance firm based in New Orleans, Landscape Images designed a display that won three of the competition’s top awards:
- Best of Show
- 1st Place Commercial Horticulture Division
- 1st Place Design Excellence Commercial
The display’s theme was “Come Outside and Play” and reflected a whimsical and imaginative al fresco experience, complete with swing sets and sand boxes. Focusing on the value of relaxation and fun, Landscape Images arranged a display that was both safe for children and ideal for hosting special family gatherings. The exhibit provided a nostalgic glance at childhood experiences to create a unique space that invited visitors to rediscover fond childhood memories.
“This year’s Spring Garden Show was a huge success for our company,” said Landscape Images president Alan Mumford. “Being honored with such awards is a new and exciting distinction for our family-owned company.”
The 2005 Spring Garden Show took place in New Orleans’ historic City Park Botanical Garden during National Landscape Architecture Month and featured plant and garden products, gardening demonstrations, a kids’ discovery area, gardening educational programs and other landscape and horticulture activities.
