Canada’s 36th International Horticultural Lawn and Garden Trade Show and Conference kicked off Jan. 6 at the Toronto Congress Centre. The three-day show, with Go Green Today as its theme, allows industry professionals to browse over 600 exhibitors, discover more than 150 new products, get the latest ideas for design and construction, attend numerous workshops and network with industry experts and professionals from different sectors in the business.
Each year, more than 12,000 people visit Canada's largest horticulture, landscape and lawn and garden trade show and conference.
On the show’s first day, booth award winners were announced in seven different categories. The winners were as follows:
- Best Promotion Award - New Roads National Leasing, booth 71
- Best Booth 200 square feet or less (excluding heavy machinery) - Aquascape, booth 304
- Best Booth 201–400 square feet (excluding heavy machinery) - Sheridan Nurseries, booth 1342
- Best Booth over 400 square feet (excluding heavy machinery) - Santerra Stonecraft, booth 332
- Best Booth Small Equipment - The Mojack, booth 276
- Best Booth Heavy Equipment - Strongco Equipment, booth 660
- Best in Show - Envirobond Products, booth 1113
For this year’s show, Landscape Ontario has joined forces with Communities in Bloom, Project EverGreen and the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association to present The Green Forum.
