BEATRICE, Neb. – Lansdowne-Moody, one of Houston’s oldest and most respected equipment dealers, has added the Encore line of zero-turn mowers to its array of high quality mowers, utility vehicles and chain saw products.
“We were looking for a lower cost, high quality z-turn mower and Encore fit our needs perfectly,” said Bryan Sorrell, store manager. “We expect the X-treme and Prowler lines to do very well with both our consumer and commercial customers. Their quality is the best in the industry.” Lansdowne-Moody, nearing its 90th year in business and with four locations in the Houston area, sells about 120 z-turn units per year. Seventy percent are purchased by contractors, with the remainder going to consumers, mostly acreage owners.
“It is very satisfying to have a company with a history like Lansdowne-Moody join the Encore family,” said Douglas Tegtmeier, president of Encore. “We appreciate their confidence in the quality and engineering of our products.”
