The national amateur photo contest deadline to produce the best 12 photos of green spaces from across the country is almost here.
Project EverGreen is producing the first national consumer calendar to be sold on its web site for only $10. Chosen green spaces (golf course, backyard, little league sports field, community park or trail, corporate building grounds, school grounds, boulevards, etc.), will win $100 and be on a national calendar sold nationwide.
Photos are due by Aug. 28. See instructions in the Web site. Project EverGreen initiatives are directed by Den Gardner, who is the executive director of the American Agricultural Editors' Association and the Turf & Ornamental Communicators' Association. Contact Gardner or Chris Moore at 877/758-4835 with questions.
Project EverGreen is a national non-profit association designed to educate consumers about the environmental, economic and lifestyle benefits of green spaces. Visit www.projectevergreen.com and click on the “Because Green Matters Consumer Calendar” icon on the home page for information on the contest.
