Lawn & Landscape, published by Cleveland-based GIE Media Inc., was named the best trade publication in Ohio by the Press Club of Cleveland's Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards. The top annual award is given to the trade magazine the judges believe has the best overall quality in editorial content and design.
In editorial categories, Lawn & Landscape received a first place in the trade report award category for its 2004 State of the Industry report, as well as first place in the trends feature award category for a story on the H2B issue. In the design categories, Lawn & Landscape won a first place for its December 2004 cover and an honorable mention for its November 2004 cover.
