Lawn & Landscape Wins Best Trade Magazine and Best Web Site Awards

Lawn & Landscape magazine and GIE Media Inc. were big winners in this year's Ohio Excellence in Journalism awards competition.

GIE Media Inc. brought home 18 Ohio Excellence in Journalism awards on Friday, June 21, including three best of Ohio awards for Lawn & Landscape and Pest Control Technology magazines.

Sponsored by the Press Club of Cleveland, the Ohio Excellence in Journalism competition rewards the best in Ohio media, recognizing trade publications, business publications, newspapers, television, radio, new media, photography and print visuals.

In addition to several individual awards, Lawn & Landscape magazine achieved first place honors as the best trade publication in Ohio for the second year in a row, while Pest Control Technology was awarded with second place in the same category. Furthermore, Lawn & Landscape Online was honored as the best Web site in Ohio.
