Lawn Buddy unveils new tier for management platform

This new tier is $5 per month and is in addition to the company’s $30 per month pro tier.

Lawn Buddy, a tech startup born in Wichita, Kansas, with users in all 50 states, supports lawn and landscapers as a CRM, payment processor and crew management platform. They are making technology more accessible by creating a new subscription tier in addition to their $30 per month pro tier.

This new tier called the “Standard Tier” is for those in the early stages of their business or those scaling up from a one man operation. This new tier is only $5 per month and gives landscapers tools to create professional bids and invoices, accept digital payments with lower processing fees and manage their customers and jobs all in one place.

“Since the beginning of Lawn Buddy, we have been on a mission to provide extreme value to our business owners,” said CEO Steven Werner. “Software should never be your biggest expense. We are proud to provide business owners with advanced tools with fair and honest pricing. We strongly believe that technology in the trades industries should be accessible to all and at every stage of business growth.”

Lawn Buddy closed a $1.5 million dollar seed round in July of this year. Throughout the pandemic, they were able to increase their sales volume by 300% due to their features which facilitate social distancing. By allowing businesses to accept digital payments and to virtually manage their crews in the field, business owners who used Lawn Buddy didn’t slow down during the pandemic.

In 2020, they launched a second service-agnostic platform called Blyss. They will be using funding to channel Blyss into specific industries such as electrical and home remodeling. They also look forward to soon opening additional markets in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Lawn Buddy will have a booth (1224) at the GIE-EXPO from Oct. 20-22. At their booth, Lawn Buddy will be providing 1:1 Demos, freshly brewed coffee, daily giveaways and in partnership with "Flying Axes", an axe throwing cage. They invite all attending the conference to come test their aim at their GIE booth this year.
