Lawn & Landscape magazine has announced that Theresa Payton will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference.
Payton is a trailblazer in technology and cybersecurity, making history as the first female White House Chief Information Officer, under President George W. Bush. She’s recognized as one of the world’s top advisors on secured digital transformation, AI and privacy, consulting Fortune 500 boards, CEOs and technology executives to safeguard critical assets and navigate complex digital challenges.
Payton is the go-to expert among network television news programs and other major media outlets for her broad cybercrime-fighting knowledge, relatable persona and ability to make complex technology understandable, and recently starred as Deputy Commander of Intelligence on the CBS TV reality hide-and-seek show, “Hunted.” She’s also CEO and chief advisor of a leading digital security firm, Fortalice.
“AI is at the top of everyone’s mind in 2026, both personally and professionally,” says Editor Brian Horn. “Payton’s keynote will address industry-related concerns, while also looking at how to harness AI’s vast potential for efficiency and growth while protecting your company, employees, clients and assets from emerging threats.”
The Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference is the green industry’s only conference dedicated solely to technology for landscape contractors, lawn care professionals and industry decision-makers. This year’s event – taking place July 22-24, 2026 – is returning to the Fairmont Princess Scottsdale in Arizona.
Current registration rates, which will increase July 22, range from $159 (Expo Only Pass) to $349 (Conference & Expo Pass). Detailed pricing and registration information are available on the conference website.
