In what might be called a grass roots movement, another agronomic company is declaring its allegiance to the mission of Project EverGreen. LebanonTurf is placing the Project EverGreen logo on its grass fertilizer packaging.
"We believe strongly in what Project EverGreen stands for and its involvement in the green industry by educating homeowners in communities throughout the country on the benefits of manicured green spaces," says Mike Sisti, marketing manager for LebanonTurf. "By 'advertising' Project EverGreen on our products, we feel we're helping to heighten America's consciousness of the value - as well as beauty - of a greener country."
Den Gardner, executive director of Project EverGreen, comments, "LebanonTurf's commitment provides the American homeowner valuable exposure to our cause. We deeply appreciate the company's endorsement and working with us to reach those homeowners, our most important audience. We encourage other companies to join us in these efforts."
