LESCO Adjusts Marketing Organizational Structure

LESCO has introduced a new organizational structure for its marketing and merchandising department.

LESCO has introduced a new organizational structure for its marketing and merchandising department. Earlier changes were made with the thought that realignment of marketing, pricing and merchandising under one leader, Chris Paczak, would create better support for the company's field sales efforts. Further changes in these groups have been announced. They include:

Ev Dennis, Jim Petrie, Jeff Fesko and Curtis Goettel have been transitioned to the new position of Category Manager.

Petrie is now Category Manager, Chemicals. He will continue to manage insecticides and oversee our herbicide and fungicide efforts, which are led by Dave Woznicki and Mike Maravich, respectively. The company plans to hire an associate merchant dedicated to PCO and specialty products.

Fesko's new title is Category Manager, Fertilizer.  LESCO plans to hire an associate merchant under Jeff to manage mulch, bulbs, organics and the ice melt line.

Dennis' new title is Category Manager, Seed.

Goettel is now LESCO's Category Manager, Hard Goods. His team includes associate merchants, Pete McLaughlin (golf course accessories and merchandise) and Adam Shaw (parts and service).

Keith McGinty has been promoted to Director, Pricing & Market Research. McGinty will continue managing LESCO's bids team while assuming responsibility for the market research and pricing teams.

Diane Brush’s new title is Director, Marketing & Store Planning. In addition to continuing to oversee the company's in-store merchandising efforts, Brush will direct LESCO's store planning and marketing activities. Store planning activities include all processes for setting up and maintaining new or relocated Service Centers, with the exception of the site selection process.

The company says it is optimistic that these moves will result in increased support for its sales team.
