CLEVELAND, Ohio — Lawn care professionals now can peruse product data and technical information from LESCO, Inc. any time of the day, in the privacy of their own homes and offices. The distributor of various lawn care products has launched a Web site – www.lesco.com – to increase its accessibility to customers.
“Revamping our Web site was long overdue, and we’re very excited about our new online presence, what it means for our customers and what it means for our business,” outlines Michael DiMino, president and CEO of LESCO. “This Web site, which we’re calling LESCO Direct, greatly extends the level of service that we can provide our customers by creating an information-packed, online presence that gives our customers the information they need when they need it.”
The new site allows customers password-protected access to their corporate accounts, with up-to-the-minute specifics on orders, payments and credit limits, notes Brett Barthel, vice president of marketing. “Soon our customers will also be able to order products from LESCO via the Web site and have them ready for pickup the following morning,” he continues.
Key content areas on the new LESCO site include:
And, according to DiMino, LESCO’s list of online offerings will continue to grow with time. “As exciting as the new LESCO Direct is today, we’re even more excited about the fact that it’s only a start for us,” he explains. “We are already working on new features that we’ll be adding to the site in the future, which will only further enhance the value that we deliver to our customers.”
