CLEVELAND – Purchasing lawn care, landscape and pest control supplies continues to get easier thanks to LESCO. Last year company embarked on an aggressive expansion campaign, opening 21 new locations across the country. That effort has continued this year, as LESCO opened its 25th new location of 2004 in late May in Novi, Mich.
“Our analysis of the lawn care, landscape and pest control markets illustrates that we can open at least 250 additional service centers with extremely high confidence of success,” noted Michael DiMino, the company’s president and chief executive officer. “The new locations we opened last year were our first new service centers since 1998 and their performance has been very encouraging thus far.”
The new service center brings the total number of LESCO locations to 272, representing a 20 percent increase from 2002. But the company’s expansion program is far from over. “We plan on opening 25 to 30 new service centers annually for the foreseeable future,” DiMino said. “Tens of thousands of customers depend on LESCO for convenience, expertise and quality products. That’s how LESCO has become so integral to its customers’ businesses over the last forty years.
“Entering new markets and increasing our presence in markets we already serve allows us to build relationships with new customers every day, and those efforts are continuing to strengthen our role as the industry’s premier product supplier,” DiMino continued.
