CLEVELAND – LESCO, a leading provider of products for the professional turf care and green industry markets, has announced the opening of three new regional distribution hubs.
The new distribution hubs in Chicago, Atlanta and Plano, Texas, are state-of-the-art distribution facilities, each designed to serve more than 70 LESCO Service Centers and 30 LESCO Stores-on-Wheels with regional stocking assortments and improved transportation services.
“Our regional hubs give LESCO a distribution infrastructure that is unparalleled in the professional turf care market,” described Michael P. DiMino, president and chief executive officer. “Our logistics team, led by Bruce Thorn, senior vice president of logistics and operations, has built a hub and spoke logistics system that allows us to execute our store expansion strategy while providing the products our customers want, when they want them, at a value unmatched regionally and nationally.”
