MOORESVILLE, N.C. – A man was in stable condition late Thursday night at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center after being struck by lightning while mowing his lawn.
Paul Combs, 40, was thrown from his riding lawn mower outside his home near Mooresville as a thunderstorm moved through Iredell County.
A neighbor, who was also outside, saw Combs and ran to help him. Relatives say Combs should be OK.
