Entries into the APLD International Landscape Design Awards Program are due Feb. 1.
The program honors the best in landscape design from around the world, bringing exceptional talent to the attention of peers, potential clients and the world of design. Entry categories include: residential, non-residential, small gardens, planting design, show gardens, specialty projects and, new this year, cost efficient projects.
Award recipients receive extensive public relations dissemination and will be honored at the APLD Awards banquet in Cleveland in June.
Also, a Student Landscape Design Awards Program recognizes student projects in landscape design. Student winners receive an award at the conference in June, along with a $250 scholarship.
Once again this year, the Distinctively Better Plant Design Award, sponsored by Monrovia Growers, will be chosen from the winning entries. The award recipient will receive $2,000 worth of Monrovia products.
