Contractors earn Certified Arborist Designation

Moosher and Spalsbury are from Heads Up Landscape in Albuquerque.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Heads Up Landscape Contractors is proud to announce two staff members have successfully earned the Certified Arborist credential. The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) administers the study course and examination, and promotes the professional practice of arboriculture to foster a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees.
 
Nick Moosher has been an Account Manager with Heads Up for SIX years. He has 20 years experience in the landscape business and has lived in New Mexico since 1997.
 
Eric Spalsbury, VP of Maintenance Business Development, has over 30 years of experience in the landscape industry. He is also a Landscape Industry Certified Manager through PLANET, as well as a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor through the Irrigation Association.

To earn an ISA Certified Arborist credential, candidates must be trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of arboriculture. ISA Certified Arborist have met all requirements to be eligible for the exam, which includes three or more years of full-time, eligible, practical work experience in arboriculture and/or a degree in the field of arboriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, or forestry from a regionally accredited educational institute. This certification covers a large number of topics giving the candidates flexibility in the arboricultural profession.
