ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. – The New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association (NJLCA) has just announced its winter course schedule for NJLCA University. NJLCA University was created to give members the opportunity to participate in full day classes and multi-day workshops, providing them with an in-depth education on topics they desire most.
For 2016, NJLCA University has a packed schedule of professional business classes. This year's class schedule includes: How to become a super foreman, Estimating and job costing in Spanish, Pond building for landscape professionals, Snow and ice management, OSHA competent person training and landscape design, Graphics and sales, just to name a few.
"What's quite unique about our program is that many of the classes are taught by our own members," says NJLCA Executive Director Jody Shilan, who is also one of the instructors.
"Education is our top priority here at the NJLCA and one of our most important value propositions," said Gail Woolcott, director of operations. "We want our members to be more knowledgeable than the rest and help us continue to raise the bar for the landscape industry here in New Jersey."
Although these classes were created for NJLCA members, non-members are encouraged to attend. Click here for more information.
