GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The Fockele Garden Co. received PLANET Awards in three categories at the 41st Annual Environmental Improvement Awards Program.
The Fockele Garden Co. earned merit awards in both the residential design/build and erosion control/ecological restoration divisions, and a distinction award in the commercial maintenance category.
In the erosion control category, The Fockele Garden Co. was honored for its work at the Fusaro-Everitt Home in Atlanta for creating a beautiful and technical remedy for a stormwater runoff problem.
The design/build award was for the Hillside Garden at the Moss home on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, where a series of naturalistic seating areas make a garden out of a steep slope.
The company’s work at Peach State Bank & Trust earned the award for maintenance, where a unique and interesting landscape requires ongoing, custom care.
PLANET’s Environmental Improvement Awards Program is designed to honor independent landscape, lawn care and interior plantscaping professionals who execute superior projects.
