KENT, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company has promoted Robert Dallmann to district manager of the Chesapeake Residential/Commercial (R/C) office.
“Rob’s understanding of client needs enables him to provide an exceptional client experience,” said Chris Klimas, the operations manager of the Mid-Atlantic R/C operating group. “He will continue to expand these critical skillsets and provide a level of employee engagement necessary for our success on both sides of the Chesapeake Bay.”
Dallmann joined Davey in 2011 as a trimmer with The Care of Trees, a Davey company, at the Gaithersburg office in Maryland. During his five years there, he worked as a field arborist, which included performing duties as a trimmer and plant health care technician. In 2016, Dallmann was promoted to a sales arborist in the Chesapeake-Western Shore office. He was promoted to assistant district manager of the Chesapeake office in 2018.
In 2015, Dallmann graduated from the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences, which is Davey’s flagship training program in biological sciences, safety, tree and plant care and management techniques. He completed the Advanced Arborist Skills Training program in 2013 and the Davey Institute of Horticultural Sciences in 2014.
Dallmann is also an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist, a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert and a Tree Care Industry Association-Certified Treecare Safety Professional. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Shepherd University.
