The Southeast Regional Conference sponsored by the New York State Turfgrass Association will be held Feb. 22 and 23 in Fishkill, N.Y.
Tuesday sessions include a complete update from Cornell University researchers on the topics of pesticides, nitrogen application rates, insect identification and new developments in IPM-based weed management for turf. Wednesday’s sessions include topics on golf turf, lawn and landscape CIT training, sports turf, cemetery maintenance and aquatics.
The Golf Course Superintendent Association of America is awarding .35 educational points for Tuesday’s session and .60 education points for Wednesday’s sessions. Credits are also available for New Jersey pesticide recertification, ISA, STMA, CEUs, CNLP, NYSDEC and Connecticut recertification credits and certified landscape technicians.
A trade show will be held Feb. 23 from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
