Stano Landscaping received a Gold Award (Best Clay Paver Commercial Application under $25,000) from the Wisconsin Masonry Alliance for the Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore Healing Garden. This project is located at 5900 S. Lake Drive in Cudahy, Wis.
The garden project included tree, shrub, perennial/annual plantings and a raised garden. Hardscaping included seat walls, planter walls, columns, outcropping stone wall, concrete, clay and flagstone pavers. The project also included an extensive low voltage lighting system.
Project Manager Randy Hill stated “the healing garden provides a retreat from the busy, sterile and often stressful surroundings of the hospital environment. The gardens promote serenity and spiritual well-being. It’s a quiet place for families to gather.”
The project was designed by Paragon Design Group with Stano Landscaping as the landscape installation contractor.
