As of Feb. 1, a computer-based version of the Irrigation Association’s certified irrigation technician exam is being offered in Spanish. This new addition follows the success of the first Spanish CIT exam offered during the 2017 Irrigation Show and Education Conference.
Becoming a certified irrigation technician boosts credibility, increases job opportunities and demonstrates commitment to efficient water management. The association introduced this exam to Spanish-language irrigation practitioners and plans to continue to consider new ways to expand this program.
