HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Joe Torelli joined Duke’s Landscape Management as its Rockaway branch manager. Torelli brings more than a decade of experience in the industry, managing multiple crews responsible for landscape maintenance at large commercial and residential properties.
As branch manager, Torelli will work with existing clients, oversee all crew work and develop new business.
“I am excited to take on this new challenge with Duke’s and look forward to working with both the Duke’s team and the clients at the Rockaway office,” Torelli said. “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on strong client relationships and quality service.”
The previous Rockaway branch manager, Robert Greene, is transitioning into a new position within Duke’s Landscape Management, as plant health care manager. Plant health care includes but is not limited to fertilization, as well as insect, weed and disease control. Greene will be utilizing integrated pest management (IPM) to provide a quality landscape with a minimum usage of pesticides. The job function has always been addressed at Duke’s as part of the branch manager’s role, and will always be part of that role, but Greene will provide oversight for all clients at all locations.
‘Joe’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to Duke’s. We view his appointment as a sign of our commitment to being one of the leading companies in our industry,” said Eric Cross, president and owner. “We are fortunate to have found someone of Joe’s caliber. Robert has served us well as Rockaway’s branch manager in the past, and his expertise of plant health care and proactive planning, make him the most suitable choice for the new position. I am confident in the direction of our growing company, especially with the talent we have in place.”
