Hunter Industries announced that Anthony Italia was recently named theFX Luminaire Sales Manager of the Year for 2011. FX Luminaire is the landscape lighting brand of Hunter Industries, which it acquired in 2009. Based out of Strasburg, Pa., Italia manages the Mid-Atlantic territory for FX.
According to FX Sales and Marketing Manager Kevin Gordon, “The competition for the award was fierce. Tony won largely because of the gains he made in the face of tremendous adversity. He tenaciously fought a daily battle to gain market acceptance for FX in a very competitive region.” At the end of the year, Italia’s efforts resulted in the company’s largest overall sales increase.
Italia has 11 years of experience in lighting, horticulture and landscape.
